A GOOD WAY IN TEAMWORK

Japan is one of the world's most resource-poor and earthquake-stricken countries, economically devastated after the Second World War, now a world power in economy, science, technology and finance, thanks to the secrets that help Japanese people get the highest productivity in the world

One of secrets is the HoRenSo rule in teamwork. So what is the Horenso rule and how is it applied?

HoRenSo is an acronym for three words: Hokoku=Report; Renraku=Communication and Sodan=Discussing/Consult.

At work, reporting periodically to superiors, often discussing with colleagues and subordinates, finally, consulting with the superiors before deciding to do. HoRenSo means being active at work.

1. HOKOKU=REPORT=BÁO CÁO

For the HoRenSo rule, Reporting is a duty. If you don't report, your boss will be very worried, because he/she does not know how your work is progressing. Don't wait until the boss asks you: "How's it going?". Actively reporting is what your boss likes best and is also a professional way of working.

Good reporting methods: periodic, accurate, complete, bad news first, polite style, respect for recipients. There are solutions. In urgent situations, meet directly or use a telephone to report. If the content is difficult to understand, we can use graphs, graphics, drawings ... to describe the content.

2. RENRAKU=COMMUNICATION=LIÊN LẠC

In Horenso rule, Contact is to communicate information. Communication is always related to time factors. Sometimes, you want to contact your boss to remind the guests to be on time, but what if the boss is too busy?

Good communication method: simple or urgent tasks can be contacted by phone, face-to-face ... and only speak the necessary points Fast and Timely (real time), do it continuously when needing to contact many: Can use the morning meeting, the end of the day meeting. Those related to the motto, quality improvement... should use the text to communicate.

3. SODAN=DISCUSSING/CONSULT=THẢO LUẬN

This is the key point for you to solve your work most effectively. No one has a perfect knowledge. Therefore, seek each other's opinions to contribute a different perspective to the problem raised to choose the optimal plan

A good way to discuss: gather people, many personalities, styles, noting opinions, encouraging dialogue, the purpose of clearly catching everyone, making the final decision and everyone complying with the decision
